Terms of Service

Last updated: July 22, 2026

These Terms govern your use of casesplit.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to be bound by them.

1. The Service

Case Split is a tool for calculating how a group should divide the cost of a sealed trading card product based on which cards each participant keeps. It performs math on inputs you provide. It does not process payments between participants, verify card values, or hold funds.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the cases, cards, participant names, and terms text you enter. You grant us a limited license to store and display that content to run the Service. Public shared links display the case in read-only form to anyone who has the URL, until you disable sharing.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service to defraud other participants.
  • Do not upload unlawful, harassing, or infringing content.
  • Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer the Service.
  • Do not use automated scrapers on the Service.

5. Disputes between participants

Case Split provides math and record-keeping. It is not a party to any agreement between you and the other participants in a case. Payment, delivery, and dispute resolution between participants is entirely your responsibility. The Terms & Conditions text inside a case is a template between the participants, not a contract with us.

6. Third-party links

The Service includes links to third-party sites, including affiliate links to TCGplayer. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those sites.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its calculations meet any particular fitness for purpose. You are responsible for verifying the math before settling any real payment.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to $50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
