This page describes how Case Split ("we", "us", "our") collects and handles information when you use casesplit.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

• Account information. When you sign up, we store your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and avatar URL from Google.
• Case content. Cases you create — including case name, cost, cards, rarity weights, participant names, and terms — are stored so you can access them later.
• Usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and diagnostics.
• Cookies. A session cookie to keep you signed in, and cookies set by third-party providers listed below.

2. How we use it

• To run the Service (authenticate you, save your cases, share links).
• To send transactional email such as invite links and password resets.
• To diagnose bugs and prevent abuse.
• To measure aggregate usage — never to sell your data.

3. Third-party services

We use the following processors and providers:

• Lovable Cloud (Supabase). Authentication, database, and email delivery.
• Google AdSense. Displays advertising on public pages. Google and its partners may set cookies and use device identifiers to show personalized ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
• TCGplayer affiliate links. Some outbound links to TCGplayer are affiliate links (Impact Radius). We may earn a commission if you make a purchase after clicking one. These links set tracking cookies on the destination site.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Content you explicitly mark as shareable (via a share link) is accessible to anyone who has the link, in read-only form, until you disable sharing.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and cases until you ask us to delete them. Email hello@casesplit.com to request account deletion. We will remove your account, cases, and personal identifiers within 30 days.

6. Children

Case Split is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. International users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you use it from outside the US, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed there.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top will change.
